Built For Man started with one simple ideal, if we could empower the hand we could help communities all over the world by creating alongside us a fashionable products that could have a chance in the biggest market in the world, right here at home.
With the “Loom Project”, we work with rural communities in Peru empowering their skills and work alongside them to created scarves, Unkus, and woven garments. Since then we have had a lot of miss information about this particular project.
The Loom Project is only  one part of our branding and it only applies when addressing a social effort.
Our efforts in Peru with the Loom Project (where it originated) was to create woven products, like  scarves, gloves, or Unkus ( poncho type product) it does not apply to knits. For knits we look for industry to creat high quality products that can display alongside world known brands just like Versace or DSquarde and sell in boutiques that showcase this and other Lux brands.
The Loom project evolve in Peru and currently has move onto the Himalayas , for the last two years we have kept the Loom Project in Peru dormant and have awaken the Loom Project in Nepal. The project is still the same format, same core the only difference is the worker, the product, and where it has been built. One thing that does stay the same is the social calling; this is all social responsibility effort from our part.
